So I forgot I was answering a meme? WHAT.
Anyway, Fact 4 you don’t know about me
Third grade was the first time I was allowed to watch in color TV. It took us five more years to get cable. My mom wasn’t a stauch supporter of exposing me early to TV, so I watched cartoons and noontime shows on our black and white TV, which was placed high on a shelf and has dials instead of a remote. It was a tedious thing to switch and I usually resort to playing or drawing instead - it’s probably why I’m not a fan of local broadcasting and showbiz.
I didn’t get to watch all those Masterpiece Theatre animes in ABS-CBN in color, so I didn’t know what Sara Crewe’s and Cedie’s eye color were, etc. At least I got to watch Sailor Moon and Yuyu Hakusho in color though, after the ban was lifted.
(It’s funny: most things in my reblog tumblr are from TV shows. Am I repressed? But then, I don’t watch them on TV.)
It makes sense to me now, though. I developed some skills instead of basking over and staring at new technology - something I should remember when I want to buy the newest thing in the market.

I grew up with a broken TV. Meaning I didn’t have TV at all.
